Frequently Asked Questions
What sports do you cover?
Although our particular expertise is in shooting baseball, soccer, and football, we will cover any sporting event.
How do I reserve a photo session and how long in advance?
You can request a reservation on our Online Booking page of the website. After we confirm our availability for the event we will send an invoice for the shooting fee if applicable. In the case that we are not available, we will contact you to reserve an alternative date. We request a minimum of 2 days advance reservation to ensure our availability. Requests closer to the date will be handled as our availability allows.
How many images will you take?
The actual number of images that we will take of your athlete varies depending on the sport, his or her playing time, and whether any other athletes are being photographed. We guarantee, however, to provide a minimum of 25 images. In the case that this is not reached, we will provide a refund or credit.
What happens if the game is cancelled?
If the game is cancelled in advance, we request that you contact us to let us know. If the game is cancelled while it is being played we will provide a refund or credit if we have not been able to take the 25 image minimum that we guarantee. We can then reschedule if desired.
What about if my athlete does not get much playing time?
If your athlete does not get enough playing time in order for us to capture the guaranteed 25 image minimum, we will provide a partial refund or credit.
How long does it take until my photos are ready?
We guarantee that the photos will be available within five business days after the event. However, in most cases the images will be available within 48 hours.
Can anybody have access to the photos of my child?
Once edited, the photos will be placed online in a password protected gallery. You will receive the gallery address and the password in order to access the gallery. If you wish, you can share this information with your friends and family, but nobody else will be able to access the photos of your child.
How do I receive the original files?
The original high-resolution images are available for purchase either one-by-one or on a CD with all images.
What makes your photos better than those that I can take myself?
Action sports photography brings with it several unique challenges. First, the action can be very fast, making it difficult both to freeze the action and capture the exact moment. Second, the action typically occurs at a distance. This means long-reaching lenses are necessary. This combination is very demanding making it impossible to take quality images without the right equipment. In addition to the eqiupment, capturing these images at the right moment requires a great deal of experience in knowing where to look. Finally, having your personal photographer focus on your athlete’s action frees you to enjoy the moments.
Our league already has a photographer, why should we hire you?
The photographers afilliated with most leagues are only hired to take posed team and individual images. Chances are that you already have a refrigerator full of these posed photos if your child has been previously played in sports leagues. We can offer a service not provided by the typical sports photographer in taking action photos of your athlete.
Do you make custom posters?
On request we can create custom posters with the team colors, your child’s name and number, etc. You can contact us directly for pricing and our offer.
What if there is a product that I am interested in that is not in your product list?
If you are interested in products that are not in our price list, please contact us directly. We do have the possibility to produce additional products and hae chosen only those most popular products. If we can not produce what you are looking for, you can always purchase the high-resolution file and have the product made at your favorite lab.
What equipment do you use?
We use professional equipment from Canon including the 1d Mark IV digital SLR and a range of fast, professional L-range lenses.
